What should my major be?

I am considering being either a homicide detective, or an agent for a professional athlete. Obviously, homicide detective would be criminal justice/pre-law, but I have to get promoted in the force for that. But for an agent, would I have to major in pre-law, sports management, or something else? Thanks in advance.
