In my opinion texting is no way to ask a girl out. But I don't think you should let it go either. Try again, but later tomorrow to see if she texts you back. She could just not be by her phone or is busy doing something or distracted or whatever. But by her response it seems she is interested. Wait it out a bit and then give her a call.
